analysis of jay z front cover

Analysis of front cover:

  This magazine uses the bold mash head to allow the reader recognize the brand “Q” which would bring a fan base to buy the magazine.

  The main image of “jay z” is used to attract a hip hop audience and it draws the readers eye to his face and give the impression that he’s important because he has a very recognisable face and the image doesn’t need to use his whole body to show his importance.

   The colour scheme is very clean except for the use of reds and gold’s, which represents importance.

    The puffs gives information to what’s going to appear in the magazine and star that will appear for example Lady Gaga, Dave Grohl and Brandon Flowers. The use of naming these stars will attract the individual’s fan bases.

 The cover line “the 10 most exciting people in music now’ will attract readers to buy the magazine.
